About me
I’ve always been interested in how stories worked.
The through-line was always an interest in structure, imagery and narrative, along with the technology used to bring them together. Somewhere in there I realized I liked moving between disciplines more than staying neatly inside one of them.
Today my work spans brand identity, websites, digital products, UX/UI, campaigns, motion, video, presentations, print and whatever else a project needs. I’ve worked both in-house and agency-side, with creative directors, writers, developers, strategists, marketers and leadership teams. I’m still very hands-on, but I’ve always been interested in the thinking behind the work: why something needs to exist, how it should communicate and what needs to be built around it so it keeps working after the first deliverable is finished.
I am still looking for the through-lines in the things I create. And while I know my limits, I still write. I still take pictures. I still like poking around in code, and AI has made that particular habit dangerous again. I draw, ride bikes, make things, take things apart and occasionally spend far too much time thinking about something most reasonable people would have left alone hours ago.
So, yes: designer, art director, photographer, writer, doodler, occasional overthinker and wearer of hats that are many.
